About the Studio
Kiana Mazikian is an architect based in Tehran. The studio designs homes, workplaces, and cultural spaces across Iran. Every project starts with a simple question: how should this place feel? The answer shapes the plans, the models, and the smallest details. Sketches become models, models become drawings, and drawings become work on site.
The practice keeps its palette narrow and honest. A few materials, used well, and daylight treated as a building material in its own right. Materials are chosen for how they weather, not just for how they photograph. Budgets and schedules are respected from the first sketch. Clients stay close at every stage, from early studies to site visits during the build.
The goal is always the same: calm, durable buildings that age well and serve the people who live and work in them.
